Coaches, Asst Coaches & Helpers!
It's that time of year again! Time for you to enroll your child (or yourself for coaches) with USA Hockey, the governing body of CHC and SYHA.
Each participant will be charged the USA Hockey fee of $30 if age 7 or older, and the CHC fee of $10. The USA Hockey fee is waived for children age 6 and younger.
1) Go to www.usahockey.com and click on the "register. online." button
2) Choose member type "Ice Player & Coach"
3) You must be 18 years of age to prcess a registration... check the box that acknowledges that YOU are 18 or older
4) Select the correct season - 2010-2011.
5) Follow the prompts... fill in all data correctly, names as they appear on birth certificate
6) Process payment - Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express (credit or debit card).
7) You may print your Confirmation page at this time. It will also be emailed to you immediately after the registration is completed.
Once you receive your confirmation number, copy and paste the entire number (a combination of numbers and letters of your last name) into the players ID in the "Edit My Account" area on the SYHA web site (www.syha.org). This will enable them to be rostered on their team.
For the 2010-2011 season, the 4th number in the confirmation code will be a "1" (i.e. xxx1xxxxABCD)

Note: 50/50 Team Fundraiser. SYHA will be holding a fundraiser in conduction with the golf tournament and are asking each travel team to participate. POWER SKATING SESSIONS
Power skating session will begin the week of September 12th and run for 3 weeks. Official dates and times will be posted to the website and notification will be sent via emailed to the league.

2010-2011 Season Kick-off / Banner Raising Ceremony – September 18, 2010
The 2010-2011 Season Kick-off/Banner Raising Ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010. As well as kicking off the upcoming season, we will be honoring past and present champions as their banners are raised high to the rafters at Terry Conners. The following teams will be honored:
Bantam A1 - 2008-2009 CT Tier 4 (Campbell Division)
Peewee A1 - 2007-2008 CT Tier 4 (Patrick Division)
Peewee A1 - 2006-2007 CT tier 4 (Norris Division)
Squirt A – 2009-2010 CT Tier 3A Champions
Squirt A – 2009-2010 New England Sectionals Runner Up

CAN/AM Lake Placid Tournament – December 2-5, 2010
SYHA has registered all 8 SYHA travel teams to participate in the CAN/AM Lake Placid Tournament being held the weekend of December 2 – 5, 2010.
CAN/AM is finalizing this coming season’s tournament and lodging fees. Once we receive this information, Team Managers will be notified.
